We are a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status based in Santa Clarita, California. 

Provide children in low income communities with books to keep at home and close the literacy gap.

EDUCATION

According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, more than half of families living in poverty don’t have children’s books in their homes. Code Read is a nonprofit dedicated to improving these numbers. By providing new books to kids in need, we aim to improve literacy levels, increase access to age-approorpiate literature, and encourage a lifelong love of reading.
